The right candidate will keep multiple social media channels updated whilst remaining brand-focused and seek out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences and increasing company turnover.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><span><ul><li>End to end management of the company social media channels, reporting into the social media manager.</li><li>Create engaging and dynamic written, graphic and video content.</li><li>Engage in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms.</li><li>Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO).</li><li>Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites and encourages audience participation.</li><li>Assists social media team with large projects.</li><li>Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns.</li><li>Monitor competitor activity.</li><li>Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.</li><li>Be knowledgeable in social media trends and integrate these into the business.</li><li>Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns.</li><li>Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics. </li><li>Develop strategies for growing sales & increasing awareness.</li><li>Work cohesively with in-house teams to ensure targets are met.</li><li>Implement influencer endorsements to support the overall social media strategy.</li></ul></span><p> </p><p><strong>Person Specification:</strong></p><span><ul><li>Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok.</li><li>Confident IT skills with a creative and analytical mindset.</li><li>Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.</li><li>Eagerness to learn new technologies, software, and industry trends.</li><li>Design experience using Adobe, Corel, or Photoshop is desirable but not essential.</li><li>Knowledge of Google Analytics and paid advertising is desirable.</li><li>A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and use initiative.</li></ul></span><p> </p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><span><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Pension</li><li>Long service awards</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Cycle to work scheme</li></ul></span><p> </p><p><strong>Position: </strong>Permanent, Full-time</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm.</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Plymouth, Devon</p></div><div class="row" style="margin-top: 5vh;"><div class="col-xs-12 col-sm-4 col-sm-offset-4">
