Launched following the acquisition of Base Childrenswear by Frasers Group in late 2022, Flannels Junior emerged as the kidswear extension of Flannels, offering luxury clothing and accessories for children in mall-based stores across the UK. The brand included four key locations—Bluewater, Westfield Stratford, Westfield White City, and Glasgow. However, in early 2025, three of these stores entered administration and were closed, resulting in redundancies. The Glasgow store on Ingram Street remains the only Flannels Junior location still operating, reflecting the brand’s contraction amid broader shifting retail dynamics. Flannels Junior was positioned as a high-end kidswear destination, aligning with Flannels’ luxury branding, but ultimately struggled to sustain its high-street presence.
