As our Regulatory Specification & Label Manager, you'll lead a team responsible for accurate product specifications, compliant labelling and the technical information behind successful product launches.This is an opportunity to bring more expertise in-house, build better ways of working and make a meaningful difference to product quality, compliance and delivery.<h2>What you'll be doing</h2><ul><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Lead, coach and develop the Regulatory Specification & Label team, creating clarity around priorities, responsibilities and delivery.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Oversee specifications and labelling across new product development, existing products and day-to-day activity.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Stay hands-on with technical work, supporting colleagues and resolving complex regulatory, artwork and supplier issues.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Manage workload, team capacity and competing project priorities, identifying risks early and keeping delivery on track.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Work closely with Product & Innovation, Project Management, Regulatory Affairs, Sourcing, Commercial, Technical, Artwork and Quality.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Build consistent processes, maintain controlled documentation and introduce performance measures that improve efficiency, consistency and quality.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Support accurate product data and ensure specifications and labelling meet applicable regulatory requirements.</li></ul><h2>What you'll bring</h2><ul><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Experience in specifications, regulatory affairs, product labelling or a related technical role within food manufacturing, FMCG, health supplements or a similarly regulated industry.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Practical knowledge of UK food and food supplements legislation, nutrition and health claims, and artwork compliance.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Experience with food supplements and product development pipelines, including competing priorities and regulatory dependencies.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">The ability to lead and develop colleagues while remaining confident in hands-on technical work.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Strong organisation, attention to detail, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">A continuous improvement mindset and confidence using data to manage performance and identify risks.</li></ul><h2>Benefits</h2><ul><li style="font-size: 11pt;">33 days' holiday, including bank holidays, plus a holiday purchase scheme.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">24/7 Virtual GP access and private medical insurance (single cover).</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Annual free at-home health testing kit after six months' service.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Employee Assistance Programme and access to Mental Health First Aiders.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Workplace pension with 5% employer contribution.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Life assurance worth twice your salary after six months' service.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">Annual bonus of up to 10%, subject to company and individual performance.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">£50 colleague product allowance after six months' service.</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">25% colleague discount, free Wellhub membership</li><li style="font-size: 11pt;">ycle to Work scheme and access to cashback and retailer discounts.</li></ul>Ready to make a difference?
