<div data-v-0e62ab25="" class="flex xs12"><div data-v-0e62ab25=""><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;" id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 16px;">YMCA Robin Hood Group provides temporary housing for vulnerable adults in a network of transitional homes across Nottingham and the surrounding area.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">We are looking for a Maintenance Joiner to join our Maintenance Team on a 6 month fixed term contract to undertake a range of carpentry, joinery and maintenance tasks.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;" id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Whilst you will be based in Nottingham, Shakespeare Street, there may be times you may be required to travel to other locations across Nottinghamshire when required to support.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">You can expect your day-to-day role to include:</span></p><ul><li style="font-size: 16px;">Undertaking a range of carpentry, and joinery tasks such as flooring, skirting boards, architraves, stud walls, kitchen units.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Carrying out repairs and general maintenance, preventative and planned.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">When required, undertaking a range of other maintenance tasks, including plumbing, painting.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Undertaking room renovations including decoration, floor coverings.</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>About You</strong></span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">You will have experience of working in a qualified trade position as a joiner / carpenter and possibly have broader experience if you have worked in a maintenance or caretaking in a work environment.&nbsp;You will have a broad range of practical skills and be that person everyone turns to when something breaks.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">A relevant trade qualification to at least level 2 in joinery and / or carpentry e.g. Level 2 / 3 Diploma in Site Carpentry, NVQ 2 / 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, level 2/3 Bench Joinery, is also highly desirable. &nbsp;We are happy to support in putting you through additional qualifications to support your experience too, giving opportunities to develop skills.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
