<h2>About the role</h2><p>We're looking for a passionate and people-focused Learning &amp; Development Partner to help colleagues learn, grow and succeed.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career in Learning &amp; Development, previous L&amp;D experience is preferred, however, we will consider relevant and/or transferrable skill(s)</p><p>Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll support the design and delivery of engaging learning experiences that build capability, drive performance and enhance the colleague experience.</p><p>You'll play a key role in delivering a blend of Health, Safety &amp; Legal training, behavioural development and leadership learning, helping colleagues and managers develop the skills they need to be successful. This role is field-based and involves regular travel across our locations, with occasional pre-planned evening and weekend activity to support business needs.</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Partnering with stakeholders to identify learning and development needs.</li><li>Supporting the design, development and delivery of engaging learning solutions and programmes.</li><li>Creating learning experiences that utilise a variety of delivery methods, including face-to-face and digital learning.</li><li>Building strong working relationships with colleagues across the business to understand priorities and challenges.</li><li>Supporting leadership, behavioural and compliance learning initiatives.</li><li>Evaluating learning effectiveness through feedback, data and learner insights.</li><li>Using learning outcomes and business feedback to continuously improve programmes and learning experiences.</li><li>Promoting inclusive and accessible learning opportunities for all colleagues.</li><li>Supporting business change and capability-building initiatives.</li><li>Ensuring learning activities comply with relevant governance, compliance and safety requirements.</li><li>Managing your workload effectively to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timescales.</li></ul><h2>You will need</h2><ul><li>Experience working in a fast-paced operational, retail, foodservice, wholesale, customer-facing or people-focused environment.</li><li>Previous experience coaching, mentoring, training or supporting others to learn in addition to knowledge of learning platforms would be advantageous.</li><li>A passion for helping people learn, develop and achieve their potential.</li><li>Confidence presenting information and facilitating discussions with groups of colleagues.</li><li>The ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.</li><li>A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.</li><li>The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.</li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;This role would suit someone who is passionate about people development and is looking to take the next step into a Learning &amp; Development career, bringing transferable skills from an operational, retail, customer-facing or people-focused background.</p><h2>What's in it for you</h2><p>At Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:</p><ul><li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discount events up to three times a year.</li><li>After 3 months service, a Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco for a 4 day period after every four-weekly pay day, ie. thirteen times a year.
