People are at the heart of our retail concept, and we want to invest in our staff and make the future extraordinary.</p><p>As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic Security Operations Centre Administrative Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>The Range has invested in a 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) to protect our people, assets, and operations nationwide. As a Nights Team Leader, you will oversee a team of SOC Operators, manage incident response and escalations, and ensure the effective operation of the SOC during night hours. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication, sound judgement, and the ability to work under pressure.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><span><ul><li>Lead and support SOC Nights Operators, ensuring the effective operation of the Security Operations Centre during night shifts.</li><li>Act as the primary escalation point for security incidents, alarms, technical faults, and operational issues.</li><li>Oversee CCTV, alarm systems, monitoring platforms, and routine system health checks, ensuring issues are responded to and escalated appropriately.</li><li>Maintain accurate incident records, shift reports, and handovers, ensuring all activity is logged to company standards.</li><li>Liaise with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and emergency services as required.</li><li>Support the development and performance of team members, ensuring adherence to SOC procedures and best practice.</li><li>Identify operational risks, technical issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, incident response procedures, GDPR, data protection requirements, and confidentiality standards.</li></ul></span><p> </p><p><strong>Person Specification:</strong></p><p>Essential</p><span><ul><li>Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.</li><li>Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.</li><li>Experience of incident management, CCTV, alarm monitoring, or security operations.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).</li><li>High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.</li></ul></span><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;"> </p><p>Desirable</p><span><ul><li>Experience within a 24/7 operational environment.</li><li>Knowledge of CCTV, alarm monitoring systems, and security technologies.</li><li>Experience of process improvement, SOP development, or first-line technical troubleshooting.</li></ul></span><p> </p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><span><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Pension</li><li>Long service awards</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Cycle to work scheme</li></ul></span><p> </p><p><strong>Position: </strong>Permanent, Full-time</p><p><strong>Shift Pattern: </strong>12-hour nights 18:45pm to 06:45am, working a 4-on, 4-off rota.</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Head Office, Plymouth, Devon</p></div><div class="row" style="margin-top: 5vh;"><div class="col-xs-12 col-sm-4 col-sm-offset-4">
