This is an essential role within the operation, helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-organised working environment to support our colleagues and operational standards.</p><p class="MsoNoSpacing">&nbsp;</p><p class="MsoNoSpacing">We are committed to providing training and development, supportive working environments and scope for progression.</p><p class="MsoNoSpacing">&nbsp;</p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal">As a Hygiene Operative, your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li><p>Carrying out housekeeping duties within the Warehouse safely, ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times</p></li><li><p>Collecting cardboard and plastic waste, ensuring refuse cages are not overloaded or poorly stacked, and baling waste correctly for collection</p></li><li><p>Dealing with spillages promptly and safely, using appropriate signage where required to minimise risk to colleagues</p></li><li><p>Taking responsibility for any workplace trucks or equipment used, including battery charging and reporting faults in line with procedures</p></li><li><p>Adhering to all Health &amp; Safety requirements at all times</p></li><li><p>Part-time – Sunday &amp; Monday: 2pm – 10pm, Tuesday: 5pm – 10pm (21 hours per week).</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><strong>Applicants should have:</strong></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><strong>&nbsp;</strong>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good timekeeping and a reliable, flexible approach to working additional hours and bank holidays</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The ability to adhere to stringent Health and Safety guidelines</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A positive attitude and the ability to work independently as part of a wider team</p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><strong>&nbsp;What we have to offer you:</strong></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing">&nbsp;Company pension, Life Assurance,&nbsp;Staff shop, Subsidised meals/snacks, Employee Assistance Programme, Free parking.</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p></div></div>
