You’ll be the go‑to expert for all things tax and statutory reporting,ensuring we stay compliant, efficient and ready for the next stage of ourjourney.</p><p>If you thrive in a hands‑on environment where pace,precision and problem‑solving matter, you’ll feel right at home.<br><br><b>What you’ll be doing</b><br><br>You’ll take responsibility for delivering accurate, timely and compliant taxand reporting outputs across the Group. Working closely with the Head ofFinance, external advisors and internal stakeholders, you’ll ensure ourfinancial foundations are rock‑solid.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul> <li>Leading the preparation and submission of all UK corporate tax returns, including computations, disclosures and supporting documentation</li> <li>Managing VAT, PAYE and other indirect tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and timely filing</li> <li>Acting as the primary contact for HMRC, managing queries, audits and correspondence</li> <li>Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP</li> <li>Coordinating with external auditors and managing the year‑end audit process</li> <li>Preparing technical accounting papers and supporting the implementation of new accounting standards</li> <li>Maintaining and improving internal controls across tax and reporting processes</li> <li>Providing tax advice on business initiatives, new restaurant openings and commercial projects</li> <li>Supporting cashflow forecasting and tax‑related balance sheet reconciliations</li> <li>Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce risk and improve efficiency across the finance function</li></ul><p>This is a role where you’ll need to be organised, detail‑drivenand comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.</p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Strongexperience in corporate tax and statutory reporting, ideally within a multi‑entityor group environment</p><ul> <li>A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)</li> <li>Solid technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and UK GAAP</li> <li>Experience managing tax compliance cycles and statutory accounts preparation</li> <li>Confidence working with auditors, advisors and HMRC</li> <li>Excellent analytical skills and a meticulous approach to accuracy</li> <li>The ability to communicate complex information clearly and build strong relationships across the business</li> <li>A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the drive to improve processes and add value</li> <li>High levels of ownership, accountability and professional curiosity</li></ul><p>Most importantly, you bring energy, integrity and the desireto make a meaningful impact in a growing business.</p><p><b>The setup</b><br><br>This is an office‑based role, working three days per week from our Londonheadquarters — also known as Whopper Support.</p><p>You’ll join a passionate, collaborative Finance team that’scentral to shaping how Burger King UK scales in the years ahead.
