You’ll alsohave the opportunity to work closely with teams across the business, includingMarketing, and help shape the way we do things as we continue to grow.</p><p>This isn’t a role where you’ll simply crunch numbers andtick boxes. We’re looking for someone who wants to understand the business,challenge the detail, solve problems and use their financial expertise to makea real difference.</p><p>If you like pace, complexity and having a seat at the table,you’ll feel right at home.</p><p><b>What you’ll be doing</b></p><p>You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely andinsightful financial reporting across the Group, while helping us strengthenour processes, controls and compliance.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul> <li>Producing timely and accurate Advertising Fund management reports, including variance analysis, month-end accruals and insightful commentary for senior management</li> <li>Partnering with our Marketing team to prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts for the Advertising Fund</li> <li>Preparing regular cashflow forecasts to support effective working capital management</li> <li>Preparing statutory accounts for Group companies</li> <li>Supporting the year-end audit process, providing information and responding to auditor queries</li> <li>Acting as a technical accounting specialist across the Group, taking the lead on complex accounting and financial reporting matters</li> <li>Providing particular expertise around IFRS 16, identifying the appropriate accounting treatment and working with stakeholders to implement it</li> <li>Driving the continual development of our financial close and control environment</li> <li>Ensuring financial controls and processes remain effective, with reconciliations maintained and opportunities for improvement identified</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with accounting and finance standards, best practice and relevant government regulations</li> <li>Preparing regulatory and tax filings, including quarterly VAT returns and Capital Allowances analysis.</li> <li>Ensuring we remain compliant with tax payment and reporting requirements</li></ul><p>You’ll work closely with colleagues across Finance,including Accounts Payable and restaurant-level Management Accounts, so beingable to build strong relationships and communicate clearly will be just asimportant as getting the numbers right.</p><p><b>What you’ll bring</b></p><p>We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA orICAS), ideally with experience gained in a Big 4 or other top-tier accountingfirm environment.</p><p>You’ll also bring:</p><ul> <li>Statutory audit or statutory accounts preparation experience — this is essential</li> <li>Experience working with complex accounting standards, particularly IFRS 16</li> <li>Experience testing, performing or reviewing financial controls and processes</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and a genuine curiosity to understand what the numbers are telling you</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and advanced formulas</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail, with the confidence to dig deeper and challenge what you see</li> <li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and explain financial information to both finance and non-finance colleagues</li> <li>A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to manage your own workload across multiple priorities</li> <li>The ability to thrive in a dynamic, changing and growing environment</li> <li>A genuine desire to learn, understand the wider business and use financial analysis to help drive performance</li></ul><p><b>Tax experience would be a real advantage, but it’s notessential.</b></p><p>Most importantly, you’ll bring energy, curiosity andownership.
