In our Head Office alone, we have over 100 colleagues managing and supporting our solution landscape. Our Business Consulting department are currently looking for a new consultant who will be responsible for the implementation of solutions for our national network of distribution centres.</p><p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate IT Business Consultant who will proactively consult, advise on solutions and manage state-of-the-art projects such as the automation of the largest Distribution Centre in the Lidl estate in Luton using SAP EWM. </div><div><ul><li>Collaborate with business consultants on potential new solutions and improvements to existing solutions</li><li>Ensure the stability, security and quality of provided solutions</li><li>Internal and external resource management and report to team manager</li><li>Managing and co-ordinating tasks with team and stakeholders</li><li>Provide solutions to the business in a cost-efficient way whilst maintaining security, functionality and time-to-market</li><li>Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the technical infrastructure as well as components / platforms in use</li><li>Provide support and incident management for applicable solutions</li><li>Ensure solution investments and costs are accurately planned for in accordance with the annual planning process</li><li>Participate in and lead projects at both national and international level</li><li>Manage Goods Issue Logistics solutions throughout their lifecycle from conception through to retirement</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure the success and smooth operation of solutions</li><li>Execute SAP EWM customising and manage the deployment and configuration of onsite warehouse hardware.&nbsp;</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2><u>What you'll need</u></h2>

</div><div><ul><li>Working knowledge of logistics solutions, comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and operations essential</li><li>An understanding of application security and governance practices is highly beneficial</li><li>Experience of project and stakeholder management essential</li><li>Knowledge of SAP EWM specifically WH Internal processes and Goods Issue essential</li><li>Experience configuring hardware essential</li><li>Knowledge of Incident Management and Release Management beneficial</li><li>Technical knowledge of WH Infrastructure beneficial</li><li>Knowledge of requirement gathering essential</li><li>SQL knowledge beneficial</li><li>The ability to liaise and communicate at both a technical and non-technical level</li><li>A strong team mentality and good collaboration ethos</li><li>Comfortable multitasking a diverse portfolio of projects and tasks</li><li>A technical and inquisitive mindset</li><li>Strong ownership of tasks and a keen eye for detail</li><li>Proactive in keeping up to date with the latest technologies</li><li>Excellent presentation and communication skills essential</li><li>Occasional travel to European countries required</li><li>German language skills are desirable, but not essential</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2><u>What you'll receive</u></h2>
