We're proud to be an equal opportunities employer, committed to building a workplace that reflects the communities we serve. </p><p>So, if your experience doesn't quite match the specification, we'd still really love to hear from you</p><h3>Your new role</h3><p>Reporting to the Senior Business Partner (or Head of Department), the Business Partner (BP) acts as the vital link between Technology and specific business work streams. </p><p>The BP is responsible for understanding business requirements, supporting the delivery of the functional plan, and ensuring that technology services are optimised to meet operational needs.</p><p> A BP is expected to manage established relationships, challenge existing processes to improve efficiency, and lead change initiatives with a focus on high-quality execution.</p><h3>What youll be doing</h3><p>Contribute to the delivery of the functional plan and identifies opportunities to improve ways of working within their specific remit.</p><p>Manage and influence key stakeholders, ensuring they are kept informed and engaged. </p><p>Effectively handle conflicting priorities and provides "constructive challenge" where necessary.</p><p>Support the delivery of business-critical technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and align with the wider Group strategy.</p><p>Consistently look for ways to do things better, faster, or more cost-effectively, and shares these best practices across the team.</p><p>Respond to customer feedback proactively to improve the quality of service and identifies any emerging trends or issues.</p><p>Demonstrate a commitment to their own development and supports the growth of others through peer coaching and role-modelling the Group Values.</p><p>Ensure resources are used effectively to deliver the best value for the business.</p><p>Be responsible for ensuring every project within their remit is successfully transitioned into service and collaborates with Project Managers and Service Operations to ensure all transition criteria are met (e.g., support documentation, training, and knowledge transfer) so that the 'Go-Live' has minimal impact on business continuity.</p><h3><br></h3><h3>Key Skills and Qualifications</h3><p>Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a Business Analyst, Junior BP, or Project Management role within a technology environment </p><p>Experience in successfully delivering technology-enabled change orprocess improvements.</p><p>Experience in managing relationships with middle management and cross-functional teams.</p><p>A solid understanding of the UK retail landscape and how technology drivescommercial value.</p><p><br></p><h3>DFS Benefits</h3><ul><li>Competitive Pay based on experience </li><li>Potential Annual Bonus Scheme: Contribute to our success and get rewarded for it</li><li>Growth and Training: Learn new skills and develop your career with us</li><li>Enjoy a great holiday allowance, with the option to buy 5 extra days.
