Support branches and category teams, improve customer satisfaction and cash profit, and help us plan ahead while fixing issues fast.</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Hitting service level targets while managing stockholding and waste</li><li>Owning a supplier/category portfolio</li><li>Overseeing that stock arrives into our network in full and on time</li><li>Forecasting demand, including NPD launches, seasonality and promotions</li><li>Working across the business with multiple stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication at all levels</li><li>Spotting risks early &nbsp;and taking appropriate action to resolve</li><li>Dealing with immediate issues in the moment</li></ul><h2>You will need</h2><ul><li>Good numerical skills</li><li>Clear communication, strong organisation, and attention to detail</li><li>Confidence using stock ordering/planning systems or similar systems</li><li>Basic Excel skills – we use filters, VLOOKUP &amp; PivotTables but don’t worry if can’t do a v-look up or pivot table yet, we can support your upskilling</li><li>A practical way to forecast new lines using sensible comparisons and clear assumptions</li><li>GCSE (or equivalent) Maths &amp; English Grade C/4+</li><li>Nice to have: supply chain or procurement experience in the FMCG sector; a supply chain qualification or degree</li></ul><h2>What's in it for you</h2><p>At Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:</p><ul><li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discount events up to three times a year.</li><li>After 3 months service, a Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco for a 4 day period after every four-weekly pay day, ie. thirteen times a year.
