You empower customers and colleagues with insight, experience and confidence. <br> <br>Duties include:<ul><li>Set exceptional retail standards: Guide department managers across Seasonal, Leisure, Gardening, Plants & Outdoors and Pets. Keep shelves full, standards flawless and commercial targets on track. </li><li>Create a standout customer experience: From entrance to exit, you’ll ensure Millets Farm feels welcoming, joyful and unmistakably ‘Webbs’. You build a store where people feel comfortable, understood and delighted.</li><li>Champion and grow your team: You foster a supportive, trusting culture where people feel valued, encouraged and proud. You develop skills, celebrate strengths and lead with empathy and clarity. </li><li>Shape smarter, modern ways of working: You embed new systems, maximise business intelligence and make sure the store runs efficiently, collaboratively and ready for future growth. </li><li>Keep colleagues & customers safe: You lead safe, well?drilled operations — including opening/closing routines, emergency protocols and contractor management. </li></ul> <br>About you:<br>You’re an experienced large?format Store Manager who thrives in a premium environment. You lead with heart and clarity, listen deeply and coach constructively. You influence through trust and bring energy, curiosity and professionalism to everything you do. <br> <br>The successful candidate must have:<ul><li>Experience of large format store management with high turnover, ideally at a high-quality positioned retailer.</li><li>IT literate in office and working knowledge of EPOS systems. Tech savvy is a major plus.</li><li>Strong leadership skills with the capacity to listen and respond.</li><li>The ability to influence, listen and understand the external perspective to inspire and think broadly about new ways of doing things.</li><li>Strong coaching skills. Must be able to give feedback to ensure common ways of working.</li><li>A passion for spotting, driving talent and creating a successful team culture.</li><li>Ability to resolve challenges and build trust between the full store team.</li><li>The ability to set clear objectives that link directly to each department, which are aligned with Webbs overall business objectives and brand values.</li><li>The power to create a culture that fosters and values collaboration.</li><li>Broad thinking and willingness to accept opinions, beliefs or behaviours that are different from your own.</li><li>Understands the dynamics of working for a fast-paced family-owned business that has a heritage brand, in a modern age, and strong community ties.</li></ul> <br>This is a full time and permanent position, working on average 39.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota.
