This role will support the current team working on new developments and enhancements to existing software.This is an exciting time to join the DFS Technology Department as we strive to revolutionise the DFS Technology systems. The successful candidate will play an integral part in providing the business within information working with internal stakeholders and external partners to produce world class solutions to support the future growth of the business.</p><p>The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become part of a Technology department where you can experience the full development life cycle of technology solutions working with amazingly talented people in a growing and progressive team.As the business has a growing need for access to information you will have the chance to build strong working relationships across the company and the opportunity to develop and broaden your skills by working on a variety of projects with both internal and external partners.</p><p><br>Your Responsibilities</p><p>● Work as part of a team of developers.</p><p>● Help specify, develop &amp; test new programs</p><p>● Maintain and improve existing programs.</p><p>● Communicating with end users (stores, factories &amp; Head Office) to ensure requirements are met.</p><p>● Produce user and technical documentation.</p><p>● Adhere to coding standards</p><p>● Provide input into application improvement plans.<br>Our Ideal Candidate</p><p>Should have an understanding of the following:</p><p>• Experience of design and programming on a variety of platforms and environments including AIXand Windows based operating systems</p><p>• Good communication skills</p><p>• Persuasive skills and ability to challenge</p><p>• Experience of REACT, C#, ASP.NET, HTML and IIS, Microsoft Visual Basic / .NET would be desirable.</p><h2>DFS Benefits&nbsp;</h2><ul><li><p>Hybrid role based at our Doncaster Group Support Centre, with 2-3 days a week onsite.</p></li><li><p>37.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Potential Annual Bonus Scheme: Contribute to our success and get rewarded for it</p></li><li><p>Growth and Training: Learn new skills and develop your career with us</p></li><li><p>Leave: Enjoy a great holiday allowance, with the option to buy 5 extra days.
