<h2>About the role</h2><p>An exciting opportunity has become available for a Network Project Manager to work on high-priority, cross-functional and complex change initiatives, having a direct impact on the successful delivery of our strategic plan.&nbsp;</p><p>With operational change management background or previous project management experience you will be working in the Network Development Team. &nbsp;As a project expert you will need to be able to work across business functions and respond to challenges that are often new for everyone involved.</p><p>To be successful in this role, you will need previous project management experience and the appropriate qualifications (APM- project fundamentals, or equivalent).</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Define and scope the projects / programmes you lead, establishing clear direction and alignment by ensuring a clear vision, objectives and plan are in place</li><li>Mobilise cross functional project /programme teams and establish and embed ways of working</li><li>Establish and facilitate the appropriate levels of governance to provide oversight and direction for the projects/programmes</li><li>Engage and align stakeholders across all levels to deliver&nbsp;</li><li>Manage inter-dependencies and impacts across projects / programmes&nbsp;</li><li>Drive progress in a consistent, transparent way, and to identify and manage issues and risks, and opportunities</li><li>Support subject matter expertise and development both within the team and across the Programmes, Projects and Change community</li></ul><h2>You will need</h2><p>To be successful in this role you will need:</p><ul><li>Operational change management experience&nbsp;</li><li>Commercial and analytical capability.&nbsp;</li><li>Proven ‘hands on’ track record of delivering solutions within a pressurised environment.</li><li>Able to work through ambiguity, providing clarity and driving change.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in running projects, engaging stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.</li><li>Strong business skills with the ability to breakdown problems and translate into solutions.</li><li>Excellence in building positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate effectively and efficiently considering the nature of the audience.&nbsp;</li><li>Previous project management &nbsp;&amp; professional project management qualification (APM or equivalent) to at least foundation level</li></ul><h2>What's in it for you</h2><p>At Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:</p><ul><li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discount events up to three times a year.</li><li>After 3 months service, a Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco for a 4 day period after every four-weekly pay day, ie. thirteen times a year.
