With an unrivalled eye for detail and passion for customer service, Boux Avenue is your ultimate destination whether you’re looking for everyday essentials or something a little sexier.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your duties be as a HR Assistant?</span></strong></p><p><br><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Administration</span></strong></p><ul><li><span data-contrast="auto">Overall responsibility for HR administration for Support Centre, Warehouse and Stores</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Using Payroll &amp; HR system to assist with HR queries and run regular monthly reports and ad hoc when required</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">General administration support, including note taking for formal meetings and supporting with writing and sending letters relating to employee relations matters</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">First point of contact for any HR queries from Head Office, Warehouse and Stores</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Process administration relating to maternities/promotions/transfers/starters &amp; leavers/change of hours etc</span></li></ul><p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Resourcing</span></strong></p><ul><li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepare and issue offer contracts to successful candidates</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure that all paperwork is returned promptly and that employee details are loaded onto the HR system promptly and accurately</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure that all colleagues have the right to work in the UK at the point of employment and ongoing and that any issues are highlighted</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure that the correct references are obtained</span></li></ul><ul><li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure colleagues are fully equipped to commence their roles and that procedures and process has been followed accurately</span></li></ul><p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">General</span></strong></p><ul><li><span data-contrast="auto">Create and issue all new and replacement colleague ID cards and colleague discount cards</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Manage and respond to all external requests for referencing including mortgages and employment</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure that all administration tasks and duties are completed accurately and timely</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Develop very effective working relationships with line managers and HR support functions</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Deliver a commercially focussed HR service for defined functions and stores within Boux Avenue</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Proactively contribute to both the commercial success of Boux Avenue and the People/Culture agenda of the business. Put forward ideas and suggestions to improve the performance and resilience of the business</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Employee issues and queries, including disciplinary and grievance</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Support and produce regular weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Proactively support increased colleague recognition and engagement</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure all managers understand the business's core values and behaviours, and are able to apply them consistently across the business when managing teams</span></li><li>Support the management and delivery of business specific pay, reward and policy arrangements</li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Support the employee recruitment process, including induction and on boarding</span></li></ul><p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What are we looking for?</span></strong></p><ul><li><span data-contrast="auto">Able to work effectively with colleagues to create a "joined up" approach to HR across the business and the Group</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Good organisational skills. Able to prioritise, organise, and report back accurately and concisely</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Vision and creativity</span></li><li><span data-contrast="auto">Gets involved and gets things done.
