<div class="clearfix"></div><h1 class="job-title axiom0-0 axiom-scraped-0">Manufacturing Systems Analyst</h1><div></div><div></div><div></div><div><p>Howdens have a new opportunity for a Manufacturing Systems Analyst to provide expert knowledge of manufacturing hardware, control systems and processes, translating requirements into enterprise solutions and processes improvements; whilst maintaining exceptional levels of systems availability and support.</p><p>This is a full time permanent opportunity based onsite 5 days per week from our Runcorn office which is also going through an exciting £100 million factory and warehouse expansion where we will see the site’s size increase by 40%, making it one of the largest cabinet production lines in the world.</p><p>What you’ll be doing</p><ul><li>1st line support of all production control manufacturing Systems and line control OT hardware with co-ordination and ownership of issue through to completion</li><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve OT hardware issues, including the installation of replacement components.</li><li>Ensure robust line control OT assets support processes are in place including backups processes and spares</li><li>Help IT teams to deliver successful installation of new assets in line with Engineering project time line.</li><li>Analysis of business requirements and creation of functional specifications; documenting all potential opportunities.</li><li>Work with all internal teams and 3rd party OEM’s in the delivery of support and proactive maintenance, protection and disaster recovery of existing assets.</li><li>Key business contact and subject matter expert for operational manufacturing processes.</li><li>Ensure all work is carried out in line with Howdens’ project methodology.</li><li>Provide out of hours support on a weekly Rota and ensure faults are fixed within system SLA.</li><li>Documentation of processes and systems and hardware i.e. User guides, Disaster recovery documents etc..</li><li>Work closely with continuous improvement and operational teams to R&amp;D potential improvement activities / processes.</li></ul><p>What we need from you</p><ul><li>3 Years or more experience within an IT role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Experienced in troubleshooting and fault fixing OT hardware issues along with the installation and support of new devices.</li><li>Familiar with basic network concepts and different communication protocols</li><li>Good manufacturing process understanding</li><li>Good analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.</li><li>Good knowledge and understanding of supply systems.</li><li>Good IT skills Operating systems knowledge, basic database and file manipulation skills.</li><li>Successfully demonstrate delivery of small / medium IT Projects.</li><li>Communicate effectively to colleagues at different levels</li><li>Ability to be join an oncall rota (1 in 5)</li></ul><p>What we can offer you</p><ul><li>Competitive salary and annual company bonus</li><li>Excellent pension scheme (company contribution of up to 12%)</li><li>25 days holiday + bank holidays with the option to buy additional days</li><li>Staff Discount</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme</li><li>Exceptional Reward and Recognition events</li></ul><p><strong>About Howdens:</strong></p><p>Howdens Joinery is the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier providing thousands of products across kitchens, joinery, and hardware.&nbsp; We have over 900 depots throughout the UK and Europe – making us the first choice for more than 460,000 loyal trade professionals.&nbsp;&nbsp;Last year our sales reached circa 2.3bn, and we have an ambitious growth agenda.&nbsp;</p><p>As well as the opportunity to develop within a fast paced and commercial environment, you will be part of a rewarding organisation recognised for excellence in the workplace in the <em>Best Big Companies to Work For.</em></p><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><p>We’re building a future where world-class service, innovation, and sustainability are embedded within our DNA.
