<h4></h4><div class="job-descriptionjs-job-description"><p>We’re&nbsp;looking for a&nbsp;Data Analyst&nbsp;to join our&nbsp;Supply Chain&nbsp;team!</p> <p>As&nbsp;a&nbsp;Data Analyst within our Supply Chain team you’ll be an&nbsp;active member of the MI team, providing information and insight, supporting ongoing projects and to contribute towards the management of a c.1000 colleague team, fulfilling c.34m items globally to our customers within an operational budget of £85M.</p> <p>You’ll&nbsp;monitor&nbsp;key KPIs and dashboards daily,&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;trends, issues, and opportunities.&nbsp;You’ll&nbsp;extract and analyse data across multiple systems, creating new dashboards to support a fast‑paced environment. Working closely with the wider team,&nbsp;you’ll&nbsp;contribute to both strategic and tactical projects, proactively uncovering insights that enhance customer experience, improve efficiency, and drive actionable outcomes across the business.</p> <p>Please note – this role will be based&nbsp;at&nbsp;our Warehouse in Shaw&nbsp;(Oldham)</p> <p>What will you do as a&nbsp;Data Analyst&nbsp;at N Brown?</p> <ul> <li>To actively review and understand trends in data, including but not limited to; carrier reporting, customer feedback&nbsp;metrics&nbsp;and operational reporting. Sharing any concerns with business owners in a clear and actionable manner. Using insight to improve overall service and cost metrics.</li> <li>To support and&nbsp;assist&nbsp;in defining and&nbsp;writing&nbsp;new reports and data sets for Supply Chain areas as required/requested to aid analysis and monitoring or core processes. Using tools such as SQL,&nbsp;PowerBI&nbsp;and Excel.</li> <li>To support in&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;and developing new functionalities in existing MI/BI processes, as well as exploring new ways to deliver data to the end user with the goal or reducing reports, increasing self-serve&nbsp;MI&nbsp;and increasing call to action.</li> <li>To support Operations, Distribution, Engineering, Fraud and Customer Service teams with data and automation to simplify processes. Including but not limited to; Macros, data exporting, internal automation tool, stored procedures, etc</li> <li>To actively look for insight in data outside of usual reports, on own initiative, with aim of improving service/costs or CSAT. Working with others to implement opportunities.</li> <li>Assisting&nbsp;in actively managing the automation and Data visualisation suite. This includes monitoring and actively&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;load on internal servers and the Power Bi Suite,&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;acceptable response&nbsp;times&nbsp;and&nbsp;assisting&nbsp;in innovation.</li> <li>Finding new and inventive ways to improve or renew aging infrastructure within the department.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>What skills and experience will you have?</p> <ul> <li>Previous&nbsp;experience of working with SQL/PowerBI&nbsp;required.</li> <li>Strong problem solving and systems analysis skills.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal/communication skills</li> <li>Understanding of&nbsp;Supply Chain processes and best practice beneficial, but not essential.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel</li> <li>Ability to present work, with&nbsp;a&nbsp; clear&nbsp;understanding of the outcome and any actions available</li> <li>This is a data centric role, therefore an ability to process map, analyse trends in large datasets and problem solve is a necessity.
