<h3 class="theme-panel-header text-2xl pb-6 theme-vacancy-section-title">About The Role</h3><p>You will support the management team where required and, at times, have sole responsibility running the store alongside open/close procedures. You will help guide your colleagues and gain exposure to build leadership capabilities, driving store and colleague performance, and championing our customer service in store.</p><p>As an admin assistant, your responsibility would be to assess, analyse and reconcile weekly sales numbers in order to ensure accurate correlation between store and company data.</p><p>In addition to the above, as a General Sales Assistant, you’ll be delivering an efficient and reliable service to our customers who are at the heart of everything we do. You will be a customer advisor achieving our sales whilst living our Matalan Values; maintaining a high performing, energetic and adaptable energy – all whilst making sure that our customer’s experience in-store is at the forefront of our work.</p><p>You’ll have great exposure of a fast-paced retail sales environment; working across the shop floor, till area and stock room.
