<h3 class="theme-panel-header text-2xl pb-6 theme-vacancy-section-title">About The Role</h3><p>This 8 hour contract would see you working as a keyholder where you will work alongside the management team where required and, at times, have sole responsibility running the store with open/close procedures, helping guide your colleagues and gaining exposure to build leadership capabilities, driving store and colleague performance, and championing our customer service in store.</p><p>In addition to this, the role of cash admin assistant involves processing and reconciling the stores takings for the week. This responsibility is undertaken on a rotation basis on Sunday mornings.</p><p>As a General Sales Assistant, you’ll be delivering an efficient and reliable service to our customers who are at the heart of everything we do. You will be a customer advisor achieving our sales whilst living our Matalan Values; maintaining a high performing, energetic and adaptable energy – all whilst making sure that our customer’s experience in-store is at the forefront of our work. </p><p>You’ll have great exposure of a fast-paced retail sales environment; working across the shop floor, till area and stock room.
