<p><strong>HGV Mechanic, Full time 40 hours per week.</strong></p><p>Based in our vehicle maintence unit (VMU) at our depot in Blairlinn, Cumbernauld.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Within this role you will recieve £20.70 per hour.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The Shift Pattern available will be bi-weekly:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Week 1 = </strong>Monday to Friday:&nbsp;8:00am - 4:30pm</li><li><strong>Week 2 = </strong>Monday to Friday:&nbsp;10:00am - 6:30pm</li></ul><p>Please note that within this role you will be required to work one out of four weekends from 8:00am to 4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday, with alternate rota days off.</p><p><strong>Working within a role at Farmfoods you benefit from:</strong></p><p>30 days holiday per annum.</p><p>Access to&nbsp;our subsidised&nbsp;on-site canteen.</p><p>Free on-site parking.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><strong>The role will involve:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintaining&nbsp;their fleet of vehicles and trailers which consists of Mercedes, Renault and Scania tractor units along with a variety of multi-temperature trailers, curtain sliders and box trailers.</li><li>Carrying out inspections, repairs and testing.</li><li>Diagnosing faults.</li></ul><p><strong>You will need the following qualifications and experience to be considered:</strong></p><ul><li>Level 3 City &amp; Guilds Maintenance of Heavy Goods Vehicles (or equivalent)</li><li>Diagnostic equipment and fault tracing resulting in first time repair</li><li>MOT preparation</li></ul><p>In addition if you have experience in any of the following please let them know in your application:</p><ul><li>LOLER experience and tail lift repair (desirable)</li><li>Multi temperature trailers and fridge repairs (desirable)</li><li>CE licence (desirable)</li></ul><div class="pull-right pa-b"><br><a href="https://jobs.farmfoods.co.uk/Apply/SEd1e2d3WIE1lY2hhbmljIHYyfDMwfDg0NDQxNnwxfHxGYWxzZXwxMTg2fDQ3MDcxNTR8MA%3d%3d?i=zZWjl7I8npU%3d" style="float:right" class="mpatssubmitButton mpatsbutton btn btn-default btn-lg">Apply</a></div>
