We’re proud to have won national awards including Best Workplaces 2023, Best Workplaces for Wellbeing 2023, Best Workplaces for Women 2023, Best Workplaces 2024 and Best Workplaces (Retail, Hospitality &amp; Leisure) 2024.<br>&nbsp;<br>We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Grounds Assistant to join our team at our Wychbold garden centre.<br>&nbsp;<br>Our small, friendly and busy Grounds team are responsible for maintaining and improving all outdoor areas.<br>&nbsp;<br>This is a varied role.&nbsp; Duties include mowing, hedge cutting, weeding, planting, pruning, tidying and operating garden machinery including a tractor (after training and subject to age) whilst also providing a friendly, cheerful service to our customers and visitors.<br>&nbsp;<br>You will be working outdoors in all weathers; sun cream, sunhats and waterproofs will be provided.<br>&nbsp;<br>You’ll have previous grounds/gardening experience and a keen interest in horticulture.&nbsp; You’ll need to be willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with whatever is needed. Some manual handling will be required; training will be given.<br>&nbsp;<br>This is a fixed time contract from March to September 2026.
