You will extract and analyse data (primarily using SQL),&nbsp;identify&nbsp;trends and weaknesses in controls, and communicate meaningful insight through clear reporting,&nbsp;commentary&nbsp;and presentations.&nbsp;</p><p>This role is suited to candidates with strong analytical capability who enjoy turning complex data into&nbsp;business‑ready&nbsp;insight and recommendations.&nbsp;</p><p>You'll&nbsp;be responsible for:&nbsp;</p><ul><li><p>Extracting data using SQL and other analytical tools to support regular MI,&nbsp;deep‑dive&nbsp;analysis and&nbsp;ad‑hoc&nbsp;insight requests.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Analysing fraud and financial crime data to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;trends, patterns,&nbsp;anomalies&nbsp;and emerging risks across the customer lifecycle.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Translating analysis into clear, meaningful insight and commentary, explaining what is happening, why it matters and what actions are recommended.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Producing&nbsp;high‑quality&nbsp;MI, KPIs and KRIs with robust narrative suitable for senior stakeholders and governance forums.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Presenting findings and recommendations to technical and&nbsp;non‑technical&nbsp;stakeholders, ensuring insight is clearly understood.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Responding to&nbsp;ad‑hoc&nbsp;data and insight requests, clearly articulating assumptions,&nbsp;limitations&nbsp;and conclusions.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Working collaboratively with Fraud Operations, Credit Risk, Data, Compliance and Customer Journey teams to ensure insight leads to action.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintaining&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;documentation to support governance,&nbsp;audits&nbsp;and regulatory reviews.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Taking ownership of defined analytical areas and proactively&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;opportunities to improve controls,&nbsp;insight&nbsp;and reporting quality.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Essential&nbsp;</p><ul><li><p>Demonstrable experience extracting and analysing data using SQL.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong analytical capability with experience&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;trends,&nbsp;patterns&nbsp;and insights from large datasets.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience working in fraud, financial crime, risk,&nbsp;analytics&nbsp;or a regulated environment.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to convert analysis into clear written commentary and recommendations.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong communication&nbsp;skills with confidence engaging senior and&nbsp;cross‑functional&nbsp;stakeholders.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p>Desirable&nbsp;</p><ul><li><p>Experience with Excel, Power&nbsp;BI&nbsp;or similar visualisation tools.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Knowledge of fraud and financial crime typologies and controls.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience producing MI for governance, risk&nbsp;committees&nbsp;or senior leadership.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><em>As FGFS is within a regulated environment any offer is subject to satisfactory background checks including criminal record check, credit check, and employment references.</em></p><p>Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:</p><p>Frasers Champion- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
