<dt class="rm-fieldTitle">Description</dt><dd class="rm-fieldData"><p class="xMsoNormal"><strong data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Finance Business Partner (Trading Performance) | Manchester | Onsite | £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Wide range of benefits/discounts | Retail </strong></p><p class="xMsoNormal">This is for an e-commerce retailer headquartered in Manchester, with a strong direct-to-consumer model and an expanding digital presence across the UK and international markets. </p><p class="xMsoNormal">Operating in a fast-paced, data-driven retail environment, the business combines commercial agility with strong brand positioning and continues to invest heavily in digital capability, customer acquisition and operational efficiency.</p><p class="xMsoNormal">With consistent revenue growth and ambitious expansion plans, the finance team plays a critical role in supporting trading performance, margin optimisation and long-term strategic planning.</p><p class="xMsoNormal"><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul class="xMailOutline"><li>Act as a true business partner to Ecommerce, Trading and Commercial leadership teams, providing insight, challenge and financial guidance</li><li>Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecast cycles aligned to digital growth and trading performance targets</li><li>Deliver P&amp;L reporting and detailed variance analysis across online channels</li><li>Provide commercial analysis on pricing, promotions, customer acquisition spend and margin performance</li><li>Build and evaluate business cases for new initiatives, marketing investment and digital optimisation projects</li><li>Support scenario modelling and strategic planning to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency</li><li>Improve reporting processes, financial controls and forecasting accuracy across ecommerce operations</li></ul><p class="xMsoNormal"><strong>About You</strong></p><ul class="xMailOutline"><li>Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)</li><li>Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance role</li><li>Background within retail, ecommerce or consumer-facing environments</li><li>Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior non-finance stakeholders</li><li>Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability</li><li>Confident communicator able to translate complex financial data into clear business insight</li><li>Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments</li></ul><p class="xMsoNormal"><strong>What's on Offer</strong></p><ul class="xMailOutline"><li>£60,000 - £70,000 basic salary</li><li>Annual performance bonus</li><li>Employee benefits and discounts</li><li>Pension scheme </li><li>Clear progression opportunities within a growing e-commerce retailer</li></ul><p>Zachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
