We’re curious, collaborative, and ready to make a tangible impact on where we work.</span></strong></p><p> </p><p><strong><span>Just like you.</span></strong><span> </span></p><p><span>In order to further enhance our HR operations, a new opportunity has been created within our dynamic and growing organisation to join our Head Office Employment Law team based at Head Office as a Team Manager – Employee Relations. </span></p><p><span>This is a new, exciting and diverse role leading a newly created Employee Relations team that supports the hearing of colleague grievances and employee relations matters on a national level, and coordinating and supporting a team of regional Employee Relations Consultants, including Head Office. </span></p><p><span>You’ll be responsible for leading the recruitment of the team, support cohesiveness of</span><span> our national employee relations topics, and build a team of case managers. </span></p><p><span>You’ll be a great communicator, leader and will apply a common-sense approach to</span><span> </span><span>day-to-day employee relations matters. You will support line manager and team coaching to</span><span> ensure that people matters are managed in a fair, respectful, legal and effective manner. </span></p><p><span>As a Team manager, you will work closely with the Head of Employment Law & HR Compliance to ensure the function is meeting and aligning with the strategic objectives of the company. </span></p></div></div><div><div><h2><u>What you'll do</u></h2>
</div><div><p><span>● Oversee a team of head office case managers</span><span> </span></p><p><span>● Oversee a regional team that provides advisory guidance and coaching on Employment</span><span> </span><span>Law policy (e.g. performance improvement, disciplinaries, grievances, equal</span><span> </span><span>opportunities, long term absence management, restructures, immigration) to enable</span><span> </span><span>managers to deliver good people management practices and ensuring consistent and</span><span> </span><span>fair decisions and legally compliant processes</span><span> </span></p><p><span>● Creating and delivering coaching on employee relations topics</span><span> </span></p><p><span>● Interpret and analyse trends to influence progress and performance, key trends,</span><span> </span><span>patterns and areas of focus</span><span> </span></p><p><span>● Ensuring compliance and logging of all cases through the Case Management Tool</span><span> </span></p><p><span>● Conducting grievance & employee relations hearings and appeals as appropriate</span></p><p><span>● Visiting regional teams to share best practice and supporting in the development of employee relations policy and toolkits </span></p></div></div><div><div><h2><u>What you'll need</u></h2>
</div><div><ul><li><p><span>Experience in leading and managing a team</span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span>Significant Employee Relations experience, advising to middle management and up to</span><span> </span><span>date labour law knowledge</span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span>Understanding of best practice and ACAS codes</span></p></li><li><p><span>The ability to collaborate and share best practice with a range of stakeholders using</span><span> </span><span>your strong influencing skills</span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent stakeholder management and people skills</span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span>Exceptional written and verbal communication</span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong Google skills (desirable) and HR software proficiency</span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience within a retail or hospitality environment would be advantageous</span></p></li><li><p><span>A legal qualification/ CIPD Level 7 (with specialist EL/advanced EL optional units) is</span><span> </span><span>desirable</span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2><u>What you'll receive</u></h2>
