You will be able to learn from your colleagues who have all undertaken their level 3 so will be able to help and advise you in every way.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">By the end of your apprenticeship, you can expect to feel confident in the following areas:&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Assisting the nursery team in delivering the highest quality care for all children to achieve and maintain an Outstanding Ofsted judgement.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Ensuring all daily routines for the babies and children are adhered to.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Ensure the rooms is safe, clean and welcoming.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Ensuring excellent customer service is provided and you are able to speak to parents and care givers to given updates on their children. &nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Ensure high quality inclusive childcare is continually provided.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Provide efficient administration, collect required data and maintain appropriate and relevant records as required by regulatory bodies.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Support the Nursery Manager with any additional duties required.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">About You&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">No matter what stage of life you are at, you will be looking to start your career in childcare! &nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Whether you have just finished your studies or you might be looking to change your career, we are looking for someone who is motivated and excited about taking that next step towards working in a nursery.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">If you had a minimum GSCE level 4/ grade C in English and Maths, this would be ideal but as long as you are keen and able to study your level 3 Early Years Workforce qualification, your GSSE’s would not be a barrier to starting.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">You will be given time off to study as part of your working week but also you will be learning “on the job” as you will be learning from our existing team every day.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">We work a 4 day week within our nursery which means you will work 4 days between Monday to Friday and have 1 day off per week. You will work 40 hours per week, 8 am to 6pm each day.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">If you have any experience of babysitting, working with children in volunteer groups such as Brownies or Beavers or maybe you have done your work experience within another nursery or a school, this would all be really helpful to showcasing your desire to want to work with you children.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><strong>This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
