We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hard-working Junior Consultant to join the Store Construction Concept Team in our Head Office.</p><p>At Lidl, we offer a hybrid working model to give you the best of both worlds. </div><div><ul><li>Support in developing the GB Corporate Building Specifications, liaising with internal stakeholders and our external Design Consultants</li><li>Regularly liaise with all internal stakeholders and our external design consultants.</li><li>Creating and managing relationships with external contractors and suppliers.</li><li>Complete detailed and accurate cost analysis and evaluations of a variety of design proposals.</li><li>Implement quality control procedures to achieve high quality standards across all construction sites.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant business procedures</li><li>Regularly deliver presentations to senior management and other internal stakeholders (as required to large audiences)</li><li>Serving as point of contact for regional construction and property teams to support achievement of store construction targets</li><li>Managing ad-hoc project plans, budgets and deadlines</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2><u>What you'll need</u></h2>

</div><div><ul><li>Degree-level (or equivalent) education in Architecture, Design Management or Civil Engineering.</li><li>Relevant practical design management/co-ordination experience</li><li>Strong ability to review and understand detailed construction plans, whilst keeping on top of change</li><li>Eye for detail and strong commercial acumen</li><li>Excellent organisational skills</li><li>The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines</li><li>Strong knowledge of Google Suite</li><li>Clear and effective communication skills</li><li>Equal comfort working within a team and on your own</li><li>Willingness to travel within the UK frequently, including overnight stays where required.</li><li>German speaking is advantageous but not essential</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2><u>What you'll receive</u></h2>
