<p><strong>What is the role&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To support the Buyer to source, develop, buy and deliver a specific range of products at the right time</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you will do</strong></p><ul><li>Manages key administrative duties for the Buying team from product concept to finished bought product.</li><li>Clearly and effectively communicates with all suppliers and internal departments in line with critical path</li><li>Manages order raising process as and when required with buyer’s approval.</li><li>Manages sample process and organisation for the department in a timely fashion.</li><li>Manages sample sealing process working closely with garment tech team to meet critical path requirements.</li><li>Manages garment approval process to achieve a commercial, saleable product.</li><li>Thoughtfully contributes towards the input of all meeting preparation including Monday Trade &amp; Product Sign Offs</li><li>Fulfil general ad hoc duties as required.</li><li>Deputising for buyer in buyer’s absence</li><li>Management of the critical path demonstrating proactive problem solving that meets deadlines.</li><li>Actively contributing to the product life cycle e.g., comp shops, pre-trip planning, range building, product briefings and lessons learnt etc.</li><li>Self-motivated clear understanding of market trends and customer profile and able to contribute knowledgeably to all meetings.</li><li>Regular store visits undertaken, findings presented back to relevant parties and actions follow through.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you will bring&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;passion for fashion particularly in the nonstandard sizing market</li><li>Good communication skills both verbal and written.</li><li>The ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.</li><li>Good time management &amp; organisational skills.</li><li>A self-motivated and proactive approach to completing given tasks.</li><li>A willingness to learn &amp; the ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>A commercial outlook and a keen business sense.</li><li>A proven record of good attendance &amp; flexibility.</li><li>The ability to adapt to frequent change in a high-pressure environment.</li><li>Commitment to always behaving with integrity and professionalism.</li><li>A proven history of taking personal responsibility &amp; accountability for actions, constantly striving to improve and exceed expectations and ensuring safety and quality are never compromised.</li><li>A relevant qualification at degree or equivalent level.</li><li>Experience working within a buying team environment, within a multiple brand retail preferable.</li><li>Effective communicator, presenter and team player.</li><li>Ability to adopt a flexible approach when required and to think swiftly.</li><li>Confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise projects.</li></ul>
