<p>We are looking to recruit a Yard Operative who will be responsible for general yard maintenance at our distribution centre in our Warrington depot in Appleton.</p><p><br>We are offering a permanent full time position working&nbsp;<strong>40 hours a week - Monday to Friday 10am-6pm.</strong></p><p><br><strong>Pay, working hours &amp; benefits:</strong><br>We offer an hourly pay rate of £11.74&nbsp;per hour.<br>In addition to your pay you will also benefit from:<br>- 6 weeks annual leave (pro rata).<br>- Full training provided.<br>- Free canteen facilities.<br>- 15% staff discount to use in any of our 300+ shops on a great range of food and household essentials.<br>- A smart uniform and all PPE provided at no cost to you.<br>- Free life assurance.<br>- Workplace pension.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>As one of our Yard Operatives you will:<br>-&nbsp;</strong>Washing of the trailers and cleaning the HGV's.<br>- Sweep and clean yard to ensure it is free from litter, debris and standing water.<br>- Gritting the yard during the winter months.<br>- Complete any other cleaning within the yard / warehouse as requested.<br>- Conduct general yard maintenance.<br>- Use a counterbalance to move and stack empty pallets.<br>- Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.<br><br><strong>You will need:</strong><br>- To be physically fit as this is a demanding role.<br>- A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.<br>We welcome applications from Army, Navy and Royal Air Force service leavers and veterans into our distribution operations and work in partnership with Hire a Hero to support service leavers with their transition into civilian life.<br><strong>A bit about us:</strong><br>Farmfoods are a family business with ambition.
