We’re proud to have won national awards including Best UK Workplace 2023, Best UK Workplace for Women 2023 and Excellence in Wellbeing awards 2023.<br>&nbsp;<br>We have a great opportunity for an experience Warehouse Manager to support the Store Manager with the smooth day to day running of goods in, picking/packing, despatch and transport operations.<br>&nbsp;<br>We are seeking an exceptionally strong people manager, who has extensive warehousing experience and a diligent process control way of thinking.<br>&nbsp;<br>The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for the goods in, picking/packing and transport teams, which includes internal order picking, stock movements, putting stock away, delivering stock to the shopfloor and customers, and checking in stock against deliveries, all using a combination of mobile and digital technology to drive productivity improvements and stock accuracy. Safe lifting and moving of stock are essential as are maintaining high standards of housekeeping.<br>&nbsp;<br>Skill and experience requirements are as follows:<ul><li>Well organised planner with an understanding of warehouse management principles.</li><li>Strong focus on continuous improvement.</li><li>Ability to learn quickly and experience of putting new procedures in place to improve service to internal and external customers, stock accuracy and process efficiency.</li><li>People management and coaching.&nbsp; A confident leader and able to delegate tasks, motivate individuals to improve and drive team performance.</li><li>Excellent customer focus.</li><li>Administratively strong and IT literate.</li><li>Good understanding of health and safety requirements in a Warehouse environment.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Qualified FLT driver (Bendi and Counterbalance), would be advantageous.</li></ul>&nbsp;<br>This is a permanent position, an average 37.5 hours per week working 5 days in 7, which includes alternative weekends.
