By keeping eyes on them, 24/7, we can ensure this young person remain safe from harm.</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Working with another Support Worker each shift, you will alternate each hour, ensuring this young person does not try to harm themselves. They are not at risk to anyone else and with the support of our in-house day team and clinical service, we are working to give this young person the support and help they need. In the meantime, we need someone like you to keep watch over them and keep them safe.</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">Working a 10 hour shift including breaks, you will alternate between sitting with our young person while they sleep and doing other tasks in the home supporting the day shift with any necessary tasks. </p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">This role would suit someone naturally caring and child-centred. While previous experience of working with a child in care would be an advantage, we are happy to give you the training and support you need.</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">We hope this to be a temporary situation so are open to you working with us on a temporary basis. We have other opportunities within the home should you wish to stay with us longer term but would be open to a casual or fixed term contract with you depending on your availability and needs. We can also be flexible on the rota pattern if you can let us know what your availability is and we can create a rota pattern around you. We can offer part time or full time hours based on your availability.</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;">This role is based within a residential care home for children.
