<dt class="rm-fieldTitle">Description</dt><dd class="rm-fieldData"><p><strong>Streetwear Designer </strong></p><p><strong>Manchester</strong></p><p> </p><p>A British streetwear brand renowned for its in-demand menswear and womenswear limited collections is currently recruiting for a Designer with strong multi-product apparel, denim, outerwear and graphics experience to join its growing creative team in Central Manchester.</p><p> </p><p>As a Designer you will be responsible for designing and developing their menswear and womenswear collections alongside the wider design team, product and merchandising teams. Taking full ownership of product lines, attending fit meetings, creating and updating tech packs, lab dip approvals, and fabric and trim research. You will work closely with the Product Developer and Garment Tech on fitting throughout the development process, adhering to the critical path and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers and factories regarding development issues. You will be a valued member of the Design team reporting directly to the Head of Design.</p><p> </p><p>The ideal candidate must have previous multi-product Menswear and womenswear design experience working at an Assistant, Junior or mid-level for a premium, streetwear or sportswear brand. Possessing an exceptional knowledge of the UK streetwear market, experience developing ranges, creating tech packs, garment construction with experience working closely with in-house designers, overseas factories and external suppliers.
