In this role, you’ll help shape BT Consumer’s portfolio across mobile, gaming and consumer electronics by identifying strategic opportunities and influencing decisions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Your work will connect customer needs, market trends and commercial performance to long-term ambitions, supporting the development of 3–5-year roadmaps.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>What you’ll be doing</b></u></h2></div><div><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Conduct structured analysis across mobile, gaming and consumer electronics to identify growth opportunities and inform long-term product success strategies.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Develop high-quality outputs such as presentations, models and papers that guide prioritisation, investment decisions and portfolio reviews at leadership level.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Monitor market trends, competitor moves and customer behaviours, translating external signals into actionable strategic implications.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Build and maintain financial models, scenario analyses and business cases to evaluate new initiatives and strategic options.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Collaborate with teams across Product, Finance, Marketing, Technology and Planning to ensure strategic recommendations align with commercial and operational realities.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Create and maintain reference materials including competitor landscapes, trend summaries and customer insights to support agile decision-making and strategic planning.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>Experience needed to be successful in the role</b></u></h2></div><div><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Strong ability to support strategic thinking through high-quality analysis, with confidence in interpreting commercial data and understanding business models.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Skilled in problem solving and critical thinking, applying structured approaches to complex or ambiguous challenges.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to present ideas clearly and adapt style for different audiences.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Hands-on experience in market, customer or competitor research, with the ability to turn external signals into actionable insights.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Proven collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, building strong relationships across functions to align assumptions and decisions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets or BI tools, ensuring accuracy and logical interpretation of data.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Understanding of product development and performance metrics, ideally with familiarity in mobile, telecoms or digital services.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>Benefits</b></u></h2></div><div><ul><li>Annual on target bonus 10% (based on both personal and company performance)</li><li>BT Pension scheme; minimum 5% employee contribution, BT contribution 10%</li><li>25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays with the option to buy up to one week's work of your contracted hours.
