<h3 class="theme-panel-header text-2xl pb-6 theme-vacancy-section-title">About the role</h3><p>In line with Matalan’s ambition to be the No.1 choice for our customers, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Insight Executive to help drive a truly customer-focused culture — using data, research, and insight to shape how we think, act, and make decisions.</p><p>This is a hands-on, analytical, and creative role for someone who loves getting into the detail of data, spotting trends, and turning numbers into meaningful stories that influence real business change.</p><p>You’ll work closely with Insight Managers and senior leaders across the business, analysing a wide range of data sources — from Kantar and YouGov to Medallia and Mintel — and bringing customer and market insight to life in clear, engaging ways.</p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Delivering insightful analysis to deepen our understanding of Matalan’s customers and the retail market.</li><li>Creating compelling reports, dashboards, and visual stories that help leaders make data-driven decisions.</li><li>Working with data from a variety of sources (e.g. Worldpanel, Medallia, YouGov BrandIndex, Mintel, GlobalData).</li><li>Supporting and leading customer research projects — from survey design and scripting through to analysis and presentation.</li><li>Developing your qualitative research skills, including recruitment, moderation, and insight visualisation.</li><li>Managing incoming insight requests and keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.</li><li>Continuously building your analytical and storytelling skills to land the “so what” and influence business strategy.</li></ul><div class="absolute bottom-2 right-2"><button onclick="scrollToTop()" class="theme-primary p-2 rounded-lg flex"><i translate="no" class="material-symbols-outlined"> arrow_upward </i></button></div>
