The role will act as a commercial partner to functional leaders, delivering insights that shape business decisions, drive efficiency, and unlock growth opportunities.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;">You will oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles while managing financial governance, process optimisation, and commercial agreements that underpin critical business operations.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style="font-weight: 400;"><li>Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery.</li><li>Partner with senior stakeholders to convert financial data into actionable commercial insights.</li><li>Challenge business leaders to identify cost efficiencies and generate new commercial opportunities.</li><li>Design and embed KPI frameworks to assess profitability, performance, and value creation.</li><li>Conduct detailed financial and scenario analyses to support investment decisions.</li><li>Manage and optimise business service agreements, including contract governance and performance reviews.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement through automation, digital tools, and process enhancement.</li><li>Uphold financial discipline and governance standards across all business activities.</li></ul><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>About You</strong></p><ul style="font-weight: 400;"><li>Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong commercial finance experience.</li><li>Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and governance.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.</li><li>Experience negotiating or managing complex service or commercial agreements.</li><li>Adaptable, results-driven, and comfortable working in agile, transformational environments.</li></ul><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>What's on Offer</strong></p><ul style="font-weight: 400;"><li>Competitive base salary with performance-related bonus</li><li>25 days holiday (with the option to buy more)</li><li>Pension contribution and private medical cover</li><li>Access to wellbeing platforms and professional development opportunities</li><li>The chance to play a key role in a forward-thinking, commercially focused finance team.</li></ul><p style="font-weight: 400;">Zachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
