Come and join our team of superheroes, as we are on the search to recruit our<br>next generation of Sales Assistants, for Smyths Toys Superstores!</p><p>This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of £12.80 per hour for over 21 and £10.55 per hour for under 21.</p><p><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>● Provide a high level of customer service<br>● Ascertain customers’ needs and wants<br>● Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team<br>● Keep the store clean and tidy<br>● Pack shelves and merchandise<br>● Work delivery and complete price changes<br>● Work on the tills<br>● Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers</p><p><br><strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong></p><p>Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:<br>● Outdoor/Bikes<br>● Nursery<br>● Software & Gaming<br>● Backdoor/Warehouse<br>Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible.<br>As you will be joining one of our new stores, you will be expected to work increased hours in order to<br>complete your training prior to your official store opening.<br>Initially, you will be hired on a temporary basis to give you the opportunity to see if you enjoy this fast<br>paced world of retail.</p><p><br><strong>Benefits</strong><br>● A benefits package inclusive of:<br>● Defined Contribution Pension Scheme<br>● Life Assurance Cover<br>● Employee Assistance Programme<br>● In-store discount</p><p>● Company Maternity and Paternity Payments<br>● Special Life-Event Gifts</p><p> </p></div>
