This highly strategic, enterprise-facing role operates at the intersection of business strategy, operating model evolution, people delivery, and Consumer P&amp;C leadership.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As part of the wider P&amp;C Consumer Corporate Functions team, the role ensures both the Consumer organisation and the P&amp;C function are structured, aligned, and equipped to deliver transformation at pace and with impact.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The role spans three core areas of accountability, requiring strong business intimacy, organisational effectiveness expertise, and disciplined programme delivery.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>What you’ll be doing</b></u></h2></div><div><p>•Develops a deep understanding of the business unit’s strategy, goals, and challenges, providing impactful HR solutions and data-driven insights to influence business decisions.<br>•Builds strong relationships across all levels, acting as a trusted advisor to translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives.<br>•Acts as a consultant and coach to managers, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and compliance.<br>•Partners with managers and People &amp; HR Services to manage absence, analyse trends, and implement proactive strategies to support well-being and minimise disruption.<br>•Supports talent initiatives aligned with business objectives, collaborating with CoEs and managers to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing, diverse workforce.<br>•Contributes to organisational effectiveness initiatives, ensuring new structures, roles, and processes meet business needs.<br>•Maintains HR expertise, staying abreast of industry trends, embracing technology to streamline processes, and enhance the employee experience.<br>•Uses data and analytics to evaluate HR programmes, inform decision-making, and present actionable recommendations to business leaders.<br>•Participates in cross-functional teams, contributing HR expertise to projects beyond the primary business unit to deliver enterprise-wide value.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>The skills you'll need to succeed </b></u></h2></div><div><p>•Trusted advisor with experience managing complex, high-level stakeholders and challenging conversations.<br>•Deep understanding of business and commercial context; shapes people solutions that drive tangible impact.<br>•Leads structure, roles, and OE initiatives to optimise capability, performance, and ways of working.<br>•Delivers complex, multi-workstream HR and organisational programmes with governance, prioritisation, and measurable outcomes.<br>•Takes a holistic view of HR and organisational issues; implements scalable solutions aligned to business strategy.<br>•Designs HR solutions with employees and customers in mind, enhancing experience and outcomes.<br>•Uses business knowledge to inform decisions and connect HR interventions to commercial outcomes.<br>•Plans and executes change initiatives to deliver business value.<br>•Coaches colleagues and supports talent development to build capability and performance.<br>•Analyses insights to inform priorities, trade-offs, and HR strategies.<br>•Aligns HR initiatives to strategy, drives performance, and plans for future workforce needs.<br>•Leverages diversity, champions inclusion, and continuously develops skills and capabilities.<br>•Manages positive employee relations and oversees fair compensation processes.<br>•Engages and excites stakeholders, clearly communicating expectations and actions.&nbsp;</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>Benefits</b></u></h2></div><div><p>At BT, we entertain, educate, and empower millions of people every single day.
