With strong recent growth, the finance team plays a central role in supporting decision-making and ensuring robust financial control.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">This role has a clear year-end accounting focus and will suit a technically strong Management Accountant who enjoys getting into the detail while working closely with senior finance leadership.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;"><strong>The Role</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of key year-end activities and support the wider finance function through a busy and important period.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Key responsibilities include:</span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Leading year-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Preparing and reviewing management accounts with a strong focus on balance sheet integrity.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Ownership of accruals, prepayments, provisions and journal postings.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit queries.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Reviewing and reconciling complex balance sheet accounts.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Assisting with year-end financial statements and supporting schedules.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Working closely with the Head of Finance to identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Supporting process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting efficiency.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;"><strong>About You</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within retail, fashion, FMCG or a fast-paced consumer business.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly around year-end processes.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Confident working autonomously and meeting tight deadlines.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with large volumes of data.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Able to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;"><strong>What's on Offer</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Salary up to £60,000.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">3 month fixed-term contract.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">High level of exposure to senior finance leadership.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Fast-paced, commercial environment.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Office-based role, 4/5 days per week (preferably 5)</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Opportunity to make a real impact during a key period for the business.</span></li></ul><div><br><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Zachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
