Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll provide accurate, timely, and insightful reporting that supports decision-making across the wider business.</p><p>This role will support the retail teams with clear and insightful financial information to help drive performance and cost control. </p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide robust financial control while developing effective relationships across retail operations and marketing teams to deliver support and actionable insights.</li><li>Prepare periodic management accounts with detailed variance analysis for review by finance leadership and key stakeholders in retail and marketing.</li><li>Execute department balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Contribute to the preparation of forecasts and budgets, measuring performance for store retail costs, marketing spend, and head office functions.</li><li>Compile and distribute weekly reports that enhance decision-making for the business.</li><li>Deliver insightful analysis to help operational and marketing teams understand cost drivers and proactively challenge areas of underperformance.</li><li>Support team members and wider business with ad hoc duties as required</li></ul><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><ul><li>Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) preferred but not essential.</li><li>Strong commercial awareness with a keen eye for process improvement and value creation.</li><li>Proactive, inquisitive mindset with a clear sense of accountability.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL/Azure is desirable.</li><li>Previous exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an advantage</li></ul><p><strong>What's on Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>£30,000 - £40,000</li><li>25 days holiday + BH</li><li>Private Healthcare</li><li>Hybrid working</li></ul><p>Zachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
