<div data-v-0e62ab25="" class="flex xs12"><div data-v-0e62ab25=""><p id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 16px;">YMCA Robin Hood Group provides temporary housing for vulnerable adults in a network of transitional houses across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">We are looking for a Maintenance Joiner/Handyperson to join our Housing team to undertake a range of carpentry, joinery and other maintenance work for our properties.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Whilst you will be based in Nottingham, you will also be expected to travel to other locations across the county when required to support in our other regions such as Mansfield and Worksop.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">You can expect your day to day role to include:</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">· Undertaking a range of carpentry, and joinery jobs</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">. Carrying out repairs and general maintenance</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">· When required, undertaking a range of other maintenance tasks, including plumbing, painting, and gardening.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>About You</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">You will have experience of working in a qualified trade position as a joiner / carpenter and possibly have broader experience if you have worked in a maintenance or caretaking in a work environment.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;"><br></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">A relevant trade qualification to at least level 2 in joinery and / or carpentry eg Level 2 / 3 Diploma in Site Carpentry, NVQ 2 / 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, level 2/3 Bench Joinery, is also highly desirable. &nbsp;We are happy and able to put you through additional qualifications to support your experience too.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;"><br></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;"></span><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
