Weekends are our busiest trading days so it is likely that you will be required to work on these days.</strong></p><p> </p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><ul dir="ltr"><li>Typical working hours will be from <strong>10pm to 7am</strong></li><li>Work as part of a team to ensure that the store is replenished to Smyths Toys standards and that these standards are maintained.</li><li>Ensure that the store is kept clean and tidy and that all of the shelves are packed down correctly to avoid gaps. </li><li>Ensuring that safety is always a priority for staff and customers, and adhering to manual handling guidelines.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Person Specification:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in retail is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Merchandising experience is desirable but not mandatory. </li><li>Has the ability to work independently as well as part of a team</li><li>Is able to work under pressure and follow instructions</li><li>Is a good communicator with a friendly and approachable manner</li><li>Attention to detail. </li><li>Has basic IT and computer skills</li><li>Must have proof of right to work in the UK</li></ul><p>You may be working Day shifts before transferring to night shift</p><p> </p><p><strong id="docs-internal-guid-8fa73fd2-7fff-50c4-a2ee-a0ae219fa345">This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of £12.50 per hour for over 21 and £10.25 per hour for under 21. <span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">The rate of pay for hours worked between 10pm and 7am is £14.37 for over 21s and £11.78 for 18-20.</span></strong></p><p dir="ltr"> </p><p dir="ltr"><strong id="docs-internal-guid-bbacc840-7fff-1d7f-bb37-4fd5a5d2c24c"> </strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong id="docs-internal-guid-bbacc840-7fff-1d7f-bb37-4fd5a5d2c24c">Job types: fixed term contract</strong></p><p> </p><p dir="ltr"><strong id="docs-internal-guid-bbacc840-7fff-1d7f-bb37-4fd5a5d2c24c">Attractive rates apply for these roles.</strong></p><p> </p><p dir="ltr"><strong id="docs-internal-guid-bbacc840-7fff-1d7f-bb37-4fd5a5d2c24c">If you think you have what it takes to become part of the Smyths Toys Superstores team please apply today!</strong></p><p> </p><p dir="ltr"> </p><p dir="ltr"> </p><p>Smyths Toys is an Equal Opportunities Employer</p><p dir="ltr"> </p></div>
