We also offer free parking if you drive to us!</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p><strong>Primary purpose:</strong></p><p>To ensure that all products meet relevant brand quality standards, specifications and regulatory requirements as well as ensuring that defective or non-compliant items reach our stores.</p><p class="xxxxxmsonormal" style="text-align:center;">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><p class="xxxxxmsonormal"><strong>Act as a guardian of quality for all DCK brands working with both brand buying teams and suppliers to improve overall quality and reduce number of items failed at delivery stages.</strong></p><ul><li><p>Inspect goods as they are delivered into the DCK DC following agreed AQL for each brand</p></li><li><p>Examine products, packaging and labelling to ensure that each item is compliant with quality expectations and all legislative requirements</p></li><li><p>Follow agreed processes when items need to be failed, placing goods in quarantine to ensure they do not reach stores</p></li><li><p>Contact suppliers and brand teams regarding fails, ensuring that credit notes are received where appropriate</p></li><li><p>Escalate concerns of regular fails or supplier errors to Quality Control Inspector and or Compliance Manager</p></li><li><p>Ensure that all DCK systems are updated and system actions are taken in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Liaise with the retail team on any products that are in store, dealing with their feedback and investigating issues, ensuring these are resolved and the Brand team are kept aware of any necessary actions</p></li></ul><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">&nbsp;</p><p class="xxxxxmsonormal"><strong>Communication &amp; Culture- role models efficient communication at all levels creating an inclusive and warm culture in line with the DCK DNA &nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li><p>Supports the establishment of a warm and supportive culture within the team, has awareness of team environment and behaviours, and actively assists with areas of concern.</p></li><li><p>Acts as a DCK role model. &nbsp;</p></li></ul><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">&nbsp;</p><p class="xxxxxmsonormal"><strong>People - role models the DCK DNA, driving own development and building strong relationships</strong></p><ul><li><p>Supports the teams to deliver consistent standards &amp; improved performance through positive engagement.</p></li><li><p>Champion team spirit and support the team to achieve their KPI’s celebrating success along the way. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain strong relationships across business functions, improving communication flow across brands.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p class="xxxxxmsonormal" style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p></div></div><h2 class="sc-1npqnwg-4 sc-1npqnwg-5 sc-1uwf3m5-0 sc-1uwf3m5-1 SkAcj custom-css-style-job-requirements">Job requirements</h2><div class="sc-1fwbcuw-0 cYUZgi"><div><p><strong>Skills and qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">Prior QC experience in a retail setting, jewellery preferred</p></li><li class=" axiom1-1 axiom-scraped-1"><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">Organisation</p></li><li><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">Managing deadlines</p></li><li><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">Effective communication – written and verbal</p></li><li><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">Able to build strong working relationships</p></li><li><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">Computer literate, with ability to fully utilise the relevant IT systems, proficient across all MS office applications.</p></li><li><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">Negotiation and influencing</p></li><li><p class="xxxxxmsonormal">Resilience</p></li></ul><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p>Please send updated CV to apply!</p></div></div>
