This means putting style before trends and truth before hype.</p><p>We are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join our team in our Head Office in Richmond.</p><p>JOB PURPOSE</p><p>This role increases commercial insight across our Omni-channel business and will support the business in improving our existing suite of reporting, through automation and understanding of KPIS required to drive sales, profitability, product and customer performance.</p><p>This role will be ideally suited to a candidate who is at the early stage of their career and thrives in a dynamic environment with a passion for analysing data. The candidate will also be detail orientated, collaborative with strong communication skills.</p><p>KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>• Owner of BI reporting (Targit and NAV), building and developing new insightful reports</p><p>• Own daily, weekly and monthly sales, gross margin and KPI reporting for all Channels (online, stores, concessions and international)</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights for business initiatives</p><p>• Support commercial finance analyst and CFO with budget and forecasting cycle, identifying trends through commercial analysis</p><p>• Part of the periodic management accounts process, including posting key journals, ensuring accurate accruals and balance sheet reconciliations</p><p>• Support commercial finance on cost control and ongoing profitability analysis, highlighting opportunities and identifying risks</p><p>• As well as other adhoc commercial analysis</p><p>SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE</p><p>• Must be proactive – can do - and want to drive change to the business’s profitability</p><p>• Analytical, inquisitive and commercial mindset</p><p>• Meets all reporting deadlines and strong organisational skills</p><p>• A team player with good people and communication skills</p><p>• Accuracy of information – “right the first time”</p><p>• Ability to build strong working relationships evident by feedback from stakeholders</p><p>Essential</p><p>• Strong excel skills, systems literacy</p><p>• Studying towards a finance qualification or has an interest in working towards an accountancy qualification</p><p>Desirable</p><p>• Experience or passion to work in retail</p><p>• Experience business partnering a Trading or Marketing function</p><p>• Microsoft Navision/Dynamics Experience</p><p>• Targit Business Intelligence (BI)</p><p>• Worked in a multisite, omnichannel environment</p><p>BENEFITS</p><p>• 25 days holidays + 1 day for birthday</p><p>• Fantastic Staff discount schemes – up to 50% (and 70% on 5 items per season)</p><p>• Life Assurance</p><p>• Pension</p><p>• Access to Unum/Help@Hand – Jigsaw’s wellbeing and benefits provider, for a whole host of resources, support and discounts</p><p>We are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications are encouraged from individuals regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marriage and civil partnerships or pregnancy and maternity.</p>
