This is a full time role but we would be open to part-time options.</p><p><strong>JOB PURPOSE</strong></p><p>The People Administrator is a key position within the People Team that supports the effective and professional HR operation and service for colleagues and Managers across the business. As the first point of administrative escalations for payroll and HR queries, the People Administrator is responsible for providing a seamless People experience and providing generalist HR support, partnering and administration to all colleagues.</p><p>KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>• Support People Partner with administrative support for all HR and payroll related queries.</p><p>• Administrative support for all HR related queries throughout the employee lifecycle, including (but not limited to) the new joiner experience, processing changes to current employees’ details, and the leaver process. Prepare letters and complete all references that come our way</p><p>• Support and escalate any concerns to the wider team where necessary.</p><p>• Support the HR and Payroll Mailbox and signpost/escalate any issues where required</p><p>• Support maintenance of HR data, systems and employee files in line with best practice standards.</p><p>• Advertise internal vacancies on Job Boards.</p><p>• Conduct ongoing Right to Work checks and escalate any issues with documents and/or their expiry</p><p>• Ensure that all Managers and Employees are being made aware and understand HR policies and procedures, providing guidance and advise.</p><p>• Provide first line ER support and advice to managers.</p><p>• Support all stores with day-to-day HR and payroll queries, escalating to the wider team where required.</p><p>• Advise Store Managers on all HR matters and seek support or guidance from wider team or escalate where required.</p><p>• Support on wider office cultural efforts and play a key part in driving a great place to work along with the rest of the People Team</p><p>SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE</p><p>• Proactive and ability to act and work with pace</p><p>• Good knowledge of MS Office package</p><p>• Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices</p><p>• Experience using HR/Payroll systems, ideally ADP iHCM or similar is desirable</p><p>• Excellent time management, communication skills and attention to detail</p><p>• Good numerical capability</p><p>• Willingness to assist the wider team members</p><p>• Keen to learn new skills</p><p>• Willingness to get stuck in to all activities</p><p>BENEFITS</p><p>• 25 days holidays + 1 day birthday leave</p><p>• Fantastic Staff discount schemes – up to 50% (and 70% on 5 items per season)</p><p>• Life Assurance</p><p>• Pension</p><p>• Access to Unum Help@Hand Support – Jigsaw’s wellbeing and benefits provider, for a whole host of resources, support and discounts</p><p>We are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications are encouraged from individuals regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marriage and civil partnerships or pregnancy and maternity.</p>
