This role includes assisting with new build locations and offering support in various IT areas such as end-user support, phone administration, retail operations, and special projects as required. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, task-oriented, with an understanding of retail systems. Additionally, the IT Support Associate must be open to travel to support the build and opening of new locations, while also delivering first-level support across Canada Goose’s global infrastructure, including corporate office environments.</p><p></p><p><i><b>What You'll Do:</b></i></p><ul><li>Provide first and second-level support through the IT Support and Retail Queues for Windows, macOS, POS systems, including printers, scanners, conference room equipment, and mobile devices (via phone, email, and in-person interactions).</li><li>Provide local and remote support for the opening, relocation, and renovation of retail stores, ensuring smooth IT operations and timely resolution of any technical issues during the process.</li><li>Setup and configure IT systems, including POS, workstations, printers, and other essential equipment, for new, relocated, or renovated retail locations.</li><li>Record, track, and escalate incidents efficiently using the company’s ticketing system.</li><li>Configure, image, and deploy workstations, laptops, POS systems, and other computing devices as needed.</li><li>Set up new user accounts and configure necessary hardware for seamless onboarding.</li><li>Configure and support a range of peripherals, including printers, copiers, IP phones, and other office equipment.</li><li>Collaborate with the IT team to address issues requiring escalation and ensure timely resolution.</li><li>Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.</li><li>Provide exceptional service to all departments while ensuring adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs).</li><li>Document technical procedures for new technologies, and maintain and update existing technical documentation.</li><li>Create and maintain clear, comprehensive end-user documentation and application support materials for inclusion in the company’s knowledge base.</li><li>Adhere to established standards and processes while fulfilling responsibilities and ensuring operational consistency.</li><li>Communicate service issues to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and timely manner, ensuring effective resolution and minimal disruption.</li></ul><p></p><p><i><b>Let's Talk About You:</b></i></p><ul><li>Proficient in English and French (B2/C1 level).</li><li><b>Hardware and Software Support:</b> Skilled in diagnosing and resolving issues with desktop and laptop hardware. Proficient in supporting Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong knowledge of Apple hardware and macOS is a notable asset. Additional experience with Adobe Creative Suite and design tools is a valuable plus.</li><li><b>Corporate IT Environment:</b> Over 2 years of experience supporting a technology-driven corporate environment, including servers, workstations, IP phones, and network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, access points).</li><li><b>Retail Systems Support:</b> Minimum 1 year of experience supporting retail systems, including POS, mPOS, printers, and scanners, ensuring seamless operations.</li><li><b>System Imaging &amp; Backup:</b> Proficient in desktop imaging and deployment technologies, as well as backup and restoration of end-user systems to maintain data integrity.</li><li><b>Mobile Device Management (MDM):</b> Skilled in managing mobile devices and platforms, ensuring secure and efficient mobile operations.</li><li><b>User Account Management:</b> Expertise in creating and managing user accounts to facilitate smooth access and system integration.</li><li><b>VPN &amp; Remote Connectivity:</b> In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies and remote user connectivity, enabling secure access for off-site users.</li><li><b>Policy &amp; Standards Enforcement:</b> Proven experience in enforcing IT standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.</li><li><b>Networking &amp; Support:</b> Strong understanding of Windows-based networking and troubleshooting techniques for optimal system performance.</li><li><b>IT Infrastructure Knowledge:</b> Comprehensive knowledge of general IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, SSO, hardware, and software systems.</li><li><b>Compliance &amp; Best Practices:</b> Familiarity with the ITIL framework, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and related support processes to maintain organizational integrity and security.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What’s in it For You?</b></p><ul><li>A company built on Canadian roots and heritage</li><li>Your work is recognized with a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards Program</li><li>Opportunities for career growth through numerous internal and external programs</li><li>Recognize and be recognized by your peers with our Goose Rewards &amp; ICON Rewards</li><li>Be a part of<span>&nbsp;</span><i>CG Gives</i>.
