You’ll ensure each shift runs smoothly; supporting residents, maintaining safety and security across our properties, and managing and supporting your team.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><br></span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Our Housing Duty team are the frontline of our service — the first point of contact for most residents. As a Housing Duty Manager, you’ll be there to support both the people we work with and the day-to-day running of our housing services.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><br></span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Being based predominantly from our Ashfield and Mansfield buildings, this role is varied and fast-paced. From providing initial support to our residents and incident response to administration, fire safety, security, and cleaning coordination — no two days are ever the same.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><br></span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">If you enjoy being busy, thinking on your feet, and never knowing quite what will happen next, this role is for you!</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><br></span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>On a day-to-day basis, your role will include:</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Lead and support the Housing Duty Workers during their shifts.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Allocate resources to cover illness or absence, including travelling yourself to a location in need of additional support.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Respond to incidents, resolve maintenance/cleaning issues.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Ensure residents are supported and signposted to the correct services and/or handover notes left for their Support Worker.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Keep properties safe, secure, and running smoothly.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Communicate clearly and confidently with both staff and residents.</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><br></span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Previous experience leading a team, ideally in a housing or supported accommodation environment.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Experience working with vulnerable adults and young people,&nbsp;demonstrating care, empathy and understanding.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Ability to manage conflict, handle crisis situations calmly, and make quick, practical decisions.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Comfortable working independently, using initiative, and being hands-on.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Ideally you would have a full UK driving licence and access to your own car.</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><br></span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">You’ll need to be confident, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
