<h2>About the role</h2><p>We have a fantastic opportunity to join our&nbsp;Distribution Centre as a Class 1 Driver. Our Regional Distribution centres supply our 198 cash and carry sites with all their products including Fresh, Frozen and Ambient stock.</p><p><strong>We are currently recruiting for Part Time drivers:</strong></p><p><em><strong>18 Hrs, 27 Hrs or 36 Hrs Per Week - all rotas will include working Friday and Sundays&nbsp;</strong></em></p><p><em><strong>The start time window is between 16:00 - 23:00 - night shift premium will be included.</strong></em></p><p>Overtime opportunities also available</p><p>Fully funded CPC training hours provided</p><p>Please note that all candidates will have to undertake a drug and alcohol test as part of the pre-employment tests.</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><p>The safe delivery of stock to our 198 cash and carry stores&nbsp;</p><p>Ensuring all paperwork is completed after delivery</p><p>That your vehicle is in good condition at the start and finish of your shift</p><p>Working autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team</p><h2>You will need</h2><p>You must hold a valid C+E Licence with experienced preferred driving a class 1 vehicle.</p><p>All applicants must be CPC qualified to be considered for this role</p><p>Applicants will not be considered if they have more than 6 points on their licence,&nbsp;'Careless Driving', prosecution for mobile phone use or drink driving or have failed to comply with 'Construction of Use'.</p><h2>What's in it for you</h2><p>At Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:</p><ul><li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discount events up to three times a year.</li><li>After 3 months service, a Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco for a 4 day period after every four-weekly pay day, ie. thirteen times a year.
