You will be responsible for managing commodity codes, processing TSS declarations and overseeing customs documentation, while also carrying out audits to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.</p></div><!-- Responsibilities --><div><h3>What you'll be doing</h3><ul style="margin:10px 0px 15px 20px;padding:0px 0px 0px 20px;"><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Periodically updating commodity codes and distributing them to suppliers, agents and internal teams.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Ensuring new suppliers and agents receive up to date customs instructions and authorisations.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Liaising with agents on audits and documentation queries.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Supporting internal departments with customs requirements and implementing new processes.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Conducting monthly audits using MSS data, identifying risks and driving changes.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Providing clear customs instructions for ad hoc shipments.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Accurately processing TSS declarations and assisting with internal customs queries.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Working closely with the sustainability team to create and submit due diligence statements and maintain records.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Monitoring regulatory changes that affect imports and exports, assessing risks and implementing updates.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Processing invoices for customs related charges and reviewing port charges.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Collating and preparing documentation for audits requested by customs authorities.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Creating and maintaining the internal customs Google site as a reference point for colleagues.</li><li style="margin:0px 0px 5px;padding:0px;font-size:inherit;">Assessing training needs and supporting the upskilling of colleagues who work with customs processes.</li></ul><p style="margin:0px 0px 20px;padding:0px;color:inherit;font-size:inherit;">It is a detailed and varied role where you will make a real impact on risk management, compliance and the smooth flow of goods across our supply chain.</p></div><!-- Ideal Candidate --><div><h3>The role is for you if...</h3><p style="margin:0px 0px 20px;padding:0px;color:inherit;font-size:inherit;">You are detail focused, highly organised and motivated by ensuring processes are accurate and compliant.
