This is a newly created role and this position will report directly into our Global Marketing Directorin London. </p><p>As the Global Head of Social Mediaat Jellycat, you will be responsible for spearheading the company's social media strategy. This newly created role is crucial for managing the rapidly growing and highly engaged social media audience, creating authentic brand desire. The role involves leading a team, ensuring exceptional social media delivery, and driving engagement across various social media platforms. This high-profile position is integral to Jellycat's business strategy and growth.<br></p><p><strong>You'll be;</strong><br></p><ul><li>Leading the social media team to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to create desire for Jellycat.</li><li>Overseeing the management of Jellycat’s presence across key social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.</li><li>Overseeing the strategy for Jellycat’s Douyin, RED, Weibo and WeChat platforms.</li><li>Leading the social media team to analyse social media trends, audience insights, and platform updates to optimise strategies and campaigns.</li><li>Fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture, setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback and support.</li><li> Overseeing the recruitment, training, and professional development of team members to ensure continuous growth and skill enhancement.</li><li>Collaborating with marketing, PR, creative, and product teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and campaign integration.</li><li>Partnering with external agencies, influencers, and brand ambassadors to amplify Jellycat’s social media presence and engagement.</li><li> Tracking and analysing key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media engagement strategies.</li><li> Ensuring regular reports are prepared on social media performance and key insights for senior management.</li><li> Using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.</li></ul><p><strong><strong>You'll have;</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in leading high-performing social media teams and strategies, ideally within a luxury high-profile brand with a highly engaged fanbase.</li><li>Significant experience with YouTube is essential.</li><li>Understanding and experience of Douyin, RED, Weibo and WeChat highly advantageous.</li><li>Demonstrated success in developing and executing industry-leading social media strategies that drive brand growth and engagement.</li><li>Strong background in team leadership and people management, with experience in developing and mentoring high-performing teams.</li><li>Deep understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices, including YouTube. </li><li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret social media metrics and insights to drive strategy.</li><li>Passionate about building and nurturing communities. </li><li>Strategic and results-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes.</li><li>Collaborative and team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and geographies.</li></ul><p><br></p></div>
