<h2>About the role</h2><p>We are delighted to share that we are recruiting for a Technologist within our Food Technical Fresh &amp; Frozen Team;&nbsp;Meat, Poultry, Eggs &amp; Dairy Category. &nbsp;</p><p>This role will see the successful candidates deliver safe, legal, responsibly sourced, quality products for their&nbsp;area, always focusing on our customers and demonstrating value-led behaviour.</p><p>This position would suit someone with relevant experience/qualification(s) with the ability to deliver safe, legal, responsibly sourced products to the customer.&nbsp;</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Risk assessing my products to be safe, legal, responsibly sourced and meet the Booker rules &amp; policies.</li><li>Supporting and delivering the technical aspects of the product development critical path.</li><li>Supporting the delivery our responsible sourcing agenda across my supply base.</li><li>Managing my products to always be great quality through on-going monitoring and improvements.</li><li>Supporting the management of risk in our supply chains, from source, ingredients and raw materials, processing, manufacturing and Booker routes to market. (safety, business &amp; reputational risks)</li><li>Supporting the supplier strategy for my area, ensuring we use the best suppliers &amp; sources.</li><li>Supporting the development of supplier capability through collaborative engagement, setting clear goals and measuring progress.
